ABOUT THE ARTIST
Ruiz Bry is an internationally renowned artist who specializes in large format collage. His work is very meticulous to the point of cutting and gluing more than 25,000 pieces of paper in a single artwork.
He takes recycled magazines, selecting and cutting thousands of pieces and quotes by hand, and transforms them into stunning portraits of extraordinary people. His work is inspired by individuals who stand out and excel in society, especially in sports and popular culture.
Ruiz Bry works and lives between United States, and Spain. He is self-taught but was guided by great contemporary artists who helped him forge his unique style.
Among the awards he has received are First Prize at the International Exhibition of Aubenas D'Art Contemporain, France; La Monnai de Paris, Grass, France; Second Prize at Salon de La Rochelle; First Prize Salon D'Art Moderne de la Forestiere; Le Taillan, France; Special Merit Category at Light Space Time, USA.
Recently Ruiz Bry’s work has been exhibited at AD Montecarlo, Monaco; Art Basel Miami; Delray Beach Open; Viridian Artist New York, Sarasota Art Center, Paks Gallery in Munich and Vienna and Art Fort Lauderdale.

Ruiz Bry es un artista de renombre internacional que se especializa en collage de gran formato. Su trabajo es muy meticuloso hasta el punto de cortar y pegar más de 25,000 pedacitos de papel en un solo cuadro.
Toma revistas recicladas, selecciona y recorta miles de figuras, formas y frases a mano transformándolas en impresionantes retratos de personas extraordinarias. Su trabajo está inspirado en individuos que se destacan en la sociedad, especialmente en el deporte y la cultura popular.
Ruiz Bry trabaja y vive entre Estados Unidos y España, es autodidacta, pero fue guiado por grandes artistas contemporáneos que lo ayudaron a forjar su estilo único.
